OK, thanks guys : the reason I had asked is, that some policies say 'garrisoned troops increase happiness' or 'pay not maintenance', etc, etc. Really helps city defence, especially with a strong ranged unit. That system was removed, thankfully now, as everyone else has said, any military? The old garrison mechanic was kinda wonky, especially if you wanted to move a unit through a city manually instead of having it end its turn there. Letter F, the confusion is the top row is called F keys. I prefer to press A for alert, but it depends what the unit is. Where did this option go? And how do you now garrison your units in cities?
